The Legacy of Raoul Wallenberg: A Panel on Genocide Prevention, was held at CIPS, Ottawa University, September 30, 2014 and presented by the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS), the Swedish Institute (SI), and the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) at Ottawa University.
PANELISTS:
Paul Dewar, Canadian Member of Parliament and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Prevention of Genocide and Other Crimes Against Humanity, Irwin Cotler, Canadian Member of Parliament and former Minister of Justice, and Errol Mendes, Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa, lawyer, and author.
Opening remarks were delivered by Vera Gara, Holocaust survivor and author and David Lunderquist, Chargé d’affaires at the Swedish Embassy in Ottawa.
